El seleccionador inglés, Roy Hogson, ha dado hoy la lista de los 23 jugadores que representarán a Inglaterra en el Mundial de Brasil de 2014 y otra lista de espera de 7 jugadores por si alguno se cayese de la convocatoria.

Si bien no hay debutantes en el equipo, hay lugar para los jóvenes
Lucas Shaw, Raheem Sterling y Ross Barkley, que todos han destacado esta temporada en sus respectivos equipos.
En el otro extremo de la escala, los veteranos de la selección inglesa, el capitán Steve Gerrard, Frank
Lampard y Wayne Rooney están preparando su tercera participación en
un Mundial, habiendo participado en los mundiales del 2006 y 2010.
